After several days of searching, it gives us great pleasure to announce that we finally found the kids. The 9 year old is Charity, the little boy carrying the basket is Emmanuel and the 4 year old Charity is carrying, baby Miracle. We met with their mother Augustina, who is a single mother of 4 and sells/cooks indomie by the roadside to feed and provide for her family. She told us Charity is her niece who she sometimes takes care of. When we arrived at her home, we discovered Augustina and her kids all live in a 1.5 x 2.5m (the size of a closet) room. The only furniture they had apart from a wardrobe was a couch upon which they take turns sleeping on. She informed us she has had to sell a lot of her things to buy school materials for the kids as well as to feed them on days when her business didn’t yield much.

Also, we would like to use this medium to say a big thank you to one of our followers who bought a new phone for Augustina. Without that phone we wouldn’t have been able to keep in touch with her as she didn’t have one.
