The owner of this magnificent house, Otunba Subomi Balogun tendered his resignation letter at age 42 because he believed his company didn’t appreciate his efforts. So he set up his own merchant bank which today is known as FCMB.

He said it was a very difficult journey and so many people doubted his success but with courage, tenacity of purpose, perseverance, discipline and a clear vision of what he wanted, he was able to set up the bank which now has over 300 branches nationwide.
