A year ago, my brothers and I decided to spend Ileya (EID) with our family back in the North. It was our third day being back home (Borno State) when Boko Haram fighters shot at us. I was the only one that made it back to Lagos as I lost both brothers that day. That memory is fixed in my brain and is definitely not one I will be forgetting. I have come to accept Lagos as my new home. My name is Alli and I am a Lagosian!
