“My name is Gbolahan, I am 18 years old and I’m currently an SS1 student. After school hours I work part-time as a vendor with Fan milk.

I am pretty much doing this to take care of myself. My mom and dad have been separated for a while now and my dad refused to let me go with my mom and as a result, I have no other choice but to stay with him. From his actions it is very easy for me to conclude that he doesn’t care about me, but I would rather not talk about him. In other for me not to go into stealing or anything illegal, I decided to take up this job selling ice cream to fellow students and residents of my community and beyond.

My dream for the future is to either be a Doctor or a Lawyer. I haven’t quite made up my mind. I’m very hopeful this job of mine will be able to put me through secondary school. I have to start making plans however on how to make extra money to put me through the university.”
