The Saxophone Enthusiast

I work at a mechanic workshop that specialises in Japanese vehicles and I’ve been here for about 2 years. Back in the day when we didn’t have any car repairs, I spent most of my time just sitting idly in the workshop awaiting customers. Along the line, my interest for playing the saxophone grew and it occurred to me that I could use my spare time at the workshop to actually learn how to play the saxophone. At the time I couldn’t afford a saxophone so I saved up for about 1 year and 8 months to be able to purchase it. When I eventually bought it, I had this fulfilment that I could finally do the two things that bring me money and joy. In addition to my self-learning, I’m currently taking a basic saxophone class in a church (Christ Apostolic Church) which is mostly during choir rehearsals to improve on my skills. My hope is that I will become better at playing the saxophone and maybe someday make money from it but for now, I will keep practicing in my workshop every time there’s an opportunity.
